Hello and Happy Monday!
Last week, I went on my first interview for oculoplastics fellowship! I will be writing more about the interview process as I go along 🙂
While I was in Chicago, I took a few minutes to film two Youtube videos. I added some of the video from Chicago to some footage I already had of my studying techniques. This video came out to be kind of long- but I go through multiple different ways I study, and I show you exactly how I go through my review book. I hope you enjoy!

It’s genuinely very difficult in this busy life to listen news on TV, so
I only use internet for that purpose, and obtain the most recent information.

Great video! Really helpful. Do you think you could show us an actual example of these folded paper quiz things? Just to get a better idea of what you mean!!
Thanks!!
Thank you says
Just wanted to say thank you for posting this detailed video. I’m a resident and my wife is about to start medical school. We have very different study methods. I’m way more inefficient than her. When I showed her this video, it resonated with her in many ways (she refuses to use flashcards). And the success you’ve had adds some real confidence in that system- and that means a lot. So from one internet stranger / fellow doc, thanks very much for sharing your story – and for going in such detail by walking through the system!
