Last semester, I was studying ALL the time and there were many a days when I couldn’t justify spending time driving all the way to the gym and back when I knew I needed to study. So out of necessity came lots of at home workouts. Here is an awesome one. It is anti-boredome, sweat city, and goes by super fast!
Start with pair 1. Do both exercises in the pair 10 times, then 9 times, then 8 times, then 7 times, then 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Move on to pair 2 and repeat 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 times
Complete each pair of exercises starting with 10 reps, then 9, then 8… you get it.
Pair 1: Squat jumps and mountain climbers
Pair 2: Hop squats and floor jacks
Pair 3: Push-ups and alternating front lunges
Pair 4: Jumping jacks and push-up jacks
Pair 5: Suitcases and plank twisters
Pair 6: Plank shoulder taps and crab taps
Pair 7: High knees and lateral step out squats
Pair 8: Burpees and reverse lunges
Pair 9: Plank jump throughs and dumbbell squat and press
Pair 10: Walking plank and heel clicks
So start with 10 squat jumps, then 10 mountain climbers, then 9 squat jumps followed by 9 mountain climbers…. once you have gone down from 10 to 1 reps with pair 1, move on to pair 2.
