Hi Friends! A long time ago, I posted a blog about medical school fashion and some of my favorite items to wear to work. I still get lots of questions about my favorite shoes, favorite dress clothes, and even favorite makeup and hair products to keep me looking professional (although sometimes I look like a total mess… luckily those days don’t get profiled on the blog!)
I recently found a few new pairs of shoes and dress pants that I LOVE and so I have to share them with you!
I’m constantly struggling to find the perfect shoes. Flats don’t always look as good as heels, but high heels make speed walking through the hospital basically impossible. I stumbled upon some Anne Klein shoes at DSW and fell in love with the small heel, but professional look.
The “fit flex” insole makes them really comfortable and they have quickly become my new favorite shoes. I bought two pairs!
The slingback makes them super easy to slip on and off, plus the nude color goes with pretty much everything.
My normal workday pants include the matching pants to my suit jackets, which are all Brooks Brothers. Sometimes however, it’s nice to have extra pairs of pants that you can use to mix and match with blazers or sweaters. Enter the J Crew Lexie pant:
This is a stretchy, straight leg pant that I found online at J Crew Factory and decided to buy in both black and navy blue. And boy am I glad I did! I love the stretchy fabric, the waist isn’t too high or low cut, and the zipper pockets are perfect.
My iPhone actually fits right into this little zipper pocket! Doesn’t get much better than that! Usually the pockets on women’s pants are so small you can barely fit a bobby pin!
I am so happy with these Anne Klein shoes and J crew factory pants, so I just had to share. Hope you enjoy!!
