Kyle and I made the best pizza for dinner two nights ago. We both thought pizza sounded good, and it was the Bachelor finale, so I figured pizza would be a great way to commemorate the evening.
I bought pre-made pizza dough from Trader Joe’s and spread it out onto a pizza pan.
Then I topped it with cheese (the Trader Joe’s quattro fromagio blend), pepperoni, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. The onions seriously made it.
I enjoyed every bite while watching Chris agonize over Becca and Whitney. Oh the drama.
Yesterday I was called in to cover the next 3 days of the Neurology Stroke Service. I worked overnight last night, so I had the whole day to workout and nap. The weather has been so beautiful and warm, so I took my run outside.
The snow on the trails had basically all melted, but the ice on the lake was still pretty thick! I wonder how long it takes for that to melt?
Running outside is always 100 times easier for me compared with running on the treadmill. I can run under 10 minute miles no problem outside- but on the treadmill? No.
After my run I ate lunch and napped before heading into the hospital. I got sign out on the patients and then it was me all alone in the work room…
At least I had coffee to keep me company 🙂
Today I’m planning on sleeping, maybe running outside again, and trying to get some of my research work done. I work normal days on Thursday and Friday, so I know I’ll be going to bed super early tonight!!
I also posted a new Youtube video today. This one is all about International Medical Graduates.[youtube.com=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOY-gZKfA6M]
Hope you enjoy!!
