Scientific 7 Minute Workout
Have you seen the New York Times Scientific 7 Minute workout?
Basically, scientists put together data from multiple studies to create the most efficient and effective workout. The high intensity and body weight aspects of all the movements give your body exactly what it needs in the littlest time possible.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m thinking about giving it a go this afternoon! I’m sure you could do several rounds of the 7 minutes to create a longer workout if you wanted!
According to the workout creators, the exercises should be performed in rapid succession, allowing 30 seconds for each, while, throughout, the intensity hovers at about an 8 on a discomfort scale of 1 to 10. Creators of this routine say it should be “unpleasant.”
