Good morning Saturday!
I’m up early today because I start my new GI rotation this morning. I am hoping it will be an early day because my team is not on call… we will see. If I get off before 6pm I have one goal and one goal only:
I didn’t workout yesterday and I really want to workout today if I have time. I went out with my girlfriends for a drink last night and got to bed a little later than usual, so if I get home after 6 pm today, working out will have to wait until I sleep 9 hours 🙂
But either way, I’m making exercise my one goal for today. I don’t always do this, but occasionally I will make one or two goals for the day to help me focus or get things done. So that’s today’s goal.
On another note, I saw this quote yesterday from Deepak Chopra and I just love it:
The purpose of life is the expansion of happiness. Happiness is the goal of every other goal.
I just LOVE this quote! I think we can all get caught up in goals, moving forward, school, work, etc. But what it all comes down to is happiness. So let’s all be happy!
So I guess besides working out, my other goal for the day is to be happy 🙂
