I hope you have a fabulous weekend planned.
Remember how I told you I was selling my house? Well, we got an offer and yesterday was the inspection. As long as they don’t ask for too much after the inspection report, I think it’s a done deal. The buyer wants to close on April 23 which means we only have a few weeks to move everything out of this house in Indianapolis and home to our parents house in Southern Indiana. We don’t move to Minnesota until June so we’re just going to hang out at our parents for the month of May. Sounds fun to me!
Since we have to move everything, Kyle’s brother-in-law is lending us his trailer to start bringing things home this weekend. We packed up all the non-essential furniture and tons of boxes of things we don’t use every day.
In between selling the house, moving, planning the wedding (in 20 DAYS eeekkk!!!!), I still have some school stuff to do. I am president of our student ophthalmology group and started a non-profit eye clinic this year, so I have to tie up all the loose ends before I graduate. It’s a busy month!!
Yesterday I started out with some greek yogurt, strawberries, and walnuts. This is becoming a staple breakfast 🙂
Then, Kyle and I went to yoga! I LOVE that he is coming to yoga with me! And he’s so good! We took an Ashtanga class again and he was doing handstands, backbends… he showed me up!
I’m on day 14 of my 30 day yoga challenge and it’s still going well. I can really feel myself getting stronger and more flexible each day. I also feel like I’ve leaned out a little bit. Some of my pants are looser than usual… which I don’t mind! I want to look nice and fit on my wedding day! I just have to remember to stay away from unhealthy foods until the wedding. At our ophthalmology meeting on Wednesday I had
one two slices of pizza…. So for the next 20 days it’s healthy healthy healthy- keep me on track okay?
After yoga I packed up some things but had to leave the house for the inspection. I grabbed lunch first:
A veggie burger, veggies, and avocado.
Then I went to the gym for a little cardio. Even though I’m doing yoga every day I’m still trying to get in some cardio as well since yoga is more like strength training 🙂 I did 45 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the elliptical while watching Nashville and then I’d had enough. Since the inspector was still at the house and I had a meeting to get to, I had to shower and get ready at the gym!
I haven’t done that in years!
Then I drove downtown for an ophthalmology meeting. Last night we elected new officers, so my time as president is over! I am so excited for the new officers to take over- they are so enthusiastic and it makes my heart so happy!!
I knew there would be pizza again and I didn’t want anymore since I had 2 slices on Wednesday, so I brought my own dinner:
Egg whites, veggies, feta, sweet potato, and avocado. Seriously yummy and doesn’t leave you feeling like you just ate greasy pizza.
At home last night Kyle and I packed furniture into the trailer and got ready to move things out of the house. We are driving to our parents today to drop things off. Now we have no couch, no dining room table, no side-tables in our bedroom. It’s going to be like camping for the next few weeks!!
Have a wonderful day friends!
