Happy Monday Morning All!!
I have my radiology exam this morning so I will try to make this post kind of short (even though we all know I’m not going to study any more this morning…)
I want to get this blog post out into the world because I am about to make a big commitment and you all have to hold me to it okay?
Here it is: I signed up for my local yoga studio’s 30 day yoga challenge!
My friend Sara just finished her 30 day challenge and loved it. Watching her go to yoga every day for a month (and going with her a time or two) inspired me to do the challenge myself! This is basically my last month in Indianapolis, my last month at this yoga studio, my last month before my wedding, and my last month of medical school!! So, why not fill it with daily yoga?
Here are the rules:
So everyone reading this- I am committing to 30 days of yoga right now!!! (Well, actually it started on Saturday, but you get it)
Besides going to yoga, I had an awesome weekend!
Saturday was our student-run eye clinic for low income Indianapolis residents. This clinic has been my big project this past year and I am going to be so sad to leave it behind.
We had a great turn-out and were able to give glasses prescriptions to tons of people in need.
We also had a huge group of medical students come which makes my heart so happy!!!
Yesterday I lounged on the couch all day, semi-studying for radiology, semi-napping, semi-online shopping.
I did make it to yoga of course 🙂
The best part about yesterday was dinner! Kyle and I split a barbecue sandwich from our local farmers market and holy moly was it good. We got a side of ginger cole-slaw which was also fantastic.
This was only one meal, but Kyle and I both filled our plates and still had enough left over to each go back for seconds!
