First off, I read this yesterday in my daily devotional and thought it was such a great message- so I’m sharing it 🙂 Even if you’re not religious I think the point is wonderful.
Yesterday morning I was up and at em really early. I felt great so I decided to workout in the morning (which is very unusual for me). Yesterday was the last workout in the Chalene Extreme ‘Burn’ phase. This phase lasts 4 weeks and there are 5 different workouts. I am tempted to post a review but I don’t want to review the entire DVD until I’ve done all 3 phases.
It’s okay to workout in your pajamas right? Coffee served as my pre-workout 🙂
My computer is being really weird and won’t play DVDs right now so I had to move my workout into my bedroom (I normally workout in my study room where my treadmill is). I carved out a little space and it actually worked perfectly! For the Chalene Extreme workouts I’m using the dumbbells you can see in the picture- they are adjustable and go up to 25lbs.
Don’t judge my old carpet…. boys used to live here and I only re-carpeted the living room.
After my workout it was time for breakfast! I was really craving oatmeal and so that’s what I made. Into my bowl went 1/3 cup oatmeal, 3 egg whites, cocoa powder, and a little stevia. I swear it tastes like brownie batter. I sprinkled some coconut on top and the submerged the entire bowl in almond milk… I am really weird and like A LOT of almond milk with my oats…
Not the most appetizing of pictures but I swear it’s good!!
Pretty boring, but I’ve been eating my vegetable soup all week so far. I had the soup with 2 dumplings and a biscuit and a clementine 🙂
When I got home from clinic around 5 I was STARVING so I went ahead and made dinner. I heated up some salmon I made this weekend along with some green beans.
Unphotographed yet again! I guess it’s just so delicious that I eat it before remembering to snap a picture! I had plain yogurt with cinnamon and spoonful of peanut butter.
All in all it was a pretty good and healthy day!!! I had to PRY myself away from some girl scout cookies at clinic but I resisted. It’s hard to remember how crummy sugar makes me feel when I’m staring at baked goods… but I’m trying!!
This is really off topic, but I have a long walk from the parking lot to clinic and it’s so stinkin cold outside that I can’t wear my work shoes for the walk- my feet will freeze off!! SO I’ve been wearing boots and changing at the clinic. But I feel like a weirdo taking off my shoes and socks at the clinic… it’s awkward. All my work shoes are flats similar to the ones I’m wearing and so they all have exposed skin. What to do???? Any advice??
What are you eating this week?
Help me with my shoe dilemma.
