I’ve been away from my computer for the past few days and I have to admit, it’s been lovely. I haven’t worried about photographing everything I eat, everything I do. I didn’t take a picture of the 4 mile run I did before Christmas or the sprints uphill I did in the cemetery in my hometown. I didn’t post pictures of the million chocolate chip cookies I ate, the coconut cake, or the other holiday indulgences I enjoyed.
These past few days have been spent with family (both mine and Kyle’s). I’ve gotten tons of sleep. I’ve watched the entire 2 seasons of Scandal.
I’ve had way too much of this:
I’ve watched Kyle’s niece ride around on her new tricycle (our gift to her) 🙂
I’ve run from one Christmas party to another, meeting Kyle at his house and then hurrying back to my house for something else.
I’ve given funny gifts.
I’ve watched my family get great gifts!
I did pretty well myself!
At the end of the day, all that matters is love and family. It is such a joy to spend time not worrying about anything else.
I meant to post this yesterday, but I was too wrapped up in presents and cookies and loved ones:
I started this silly blog 6 months ago and through it I have met amazing people. Every single comment I get on my random posts makes my day. I am so grateful for this blog. I appreciate FitFluential more than I can say.
And if you’re reading this somewhere, sometime, I appreciate you!
We’re snowed in today and so I’m going to enjoy the quite time at home. And I’ll make sure to start sweating out all the sugar I’ve consumed in the past 3 days 😉
What did you get for Christmas? Favorite presents?
Are you snowed in? Favorite indoor workout?
