I’ve had a few people ask me to post about how I studied for Step 1, so here it is!
After watching this silly vlog I realize that a.) I say “this is my last tip” about 4 times- so don’t get all excited that it’s over when I say that because it’s not and b.) I didn’t really go into detail about how I scheduled out my last 3 weeks of studying.
I also didn’t talk about the paid NBME practice exams.
So, if you have questions about any of those things, just comment below and I will go into more detail! Good luck studying!!!
Here are the books I consider ‘must haves’:
Everything you need to know is in First Aid. Sleep with it under your pillow.
Make sure you have a strong physiology base! Going back to this review book helped me a lot.
Like I mentioned in the video, if you want to go with Pathoma instead, I think that would be a good decision.
USMLE World Qbank is golden. I learned so much simply from doing questions.
Good luck!! And don’t start studying until January!
